Yeshua in the Torah

How Can We See Yeshua in the Torah?

On the road to Emmaus, Yeshua revealed himself to two disciples not by declaring his resurrection but by teaching them about himself through the Torah, showing how the scriptures point to him as the Messiah. This practice encourages us to seek hidden treasures in the Torah, connecting Yeshua to Jewish teachings and traditions. By exploring rabbinic literature and Jewish perspectives, we uncover new insights about Yeshua and deepen our understanding of his role as the Jewish Messiah, blending traditional Judaism with Messianic faith. Let us learn and apply these lessons in our daily lives.

Watch: Yeshua in the Torah

A parsha (פָּרָשָׁה, “portion”) is one of the 54 weekly Torah portions. One is read aloud in synagogue every Shabbat, so the whole Torah, the five books of Moshe, is read in order each year, finishing and starting again on Simchat Torah. Each parsha is paired with a haftarah, a reading from the Prophets. Choose a parsha below to watch its lesson, open the reading, or see when it’s read this year.

Every time my wife and I have visited Benei Avraham, we have been greeted with hospitality. The Rabbi and Rebettzin are very friendly and they love discussing Torah, Halacha, and Yehoshua with those willing to do so.

I have only participated online, but feel a part of the family even from Alabama. My Hebrew has improved and I've learned halacha in such a gentle way. Our family has been able to absorb it and walk in the new things we have learned. I hope to be able to meet them in person someday!
