Jubilees, Chapter 25
Rivkah warns Yaakov not to take a wife from the daughters of Kena’an as Esav did, Yaakov promises to take a wife from her father’s house, and Rivkah thanks the Most High God and blesses Yaakov.
25:1And in the second year of this week in this jubilee, Rivkah (Rebekah) called Yaakov (Jacob) her son, and spoke unto him, saying, “My son, do not take for yourself a wife of the daughters of Kena’an (Canaan), as Esav (Esau), your brother, who took for himself two wives of the daughters of Kena’an, and they have embittered my soul with all their unclean deeds: for all their deeds are fornication and lust, and there is no righteousness with them, for their deeds are evil.

You shall take for yourself a wife of the house of my father, and the Most High God will bless you, and your children shall be a righteous generation and a holy seed.”
- R. H. Charles, The Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament (Oxford, 1913), public domain, lightly modernized by Benei Avraham in the same way as our Bible pages: “thee/thou” become “you,” older verb forms are updated, people and places carry their Hebrew names with the familiar English name in parentheses the first time on each page, and “the Lord” (God) is written “Hashem.” Charles’s editorial dates are given in the notes.
