19:1And the second lot came forth to Shim’on (Simeon), even for the tribe of the children of Shim’on according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Yehudah (Judah).

אוַיֵּצֵ֞א הַגּוֹרָ֤ל הַשֵּׁנִי֙ לְשִׁמְע֔וֹן לְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־שִׁמְע֖וֹן לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֑ם וַֽיְהִי֙ נַֽחֲלָתָ֔ם בְּת֖וֹךְ נַחֲלַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־יְהוּדָֽה׃

19:2And they had in their inheritance Be’er Sheva (Beer-sheba), or Sheva (Sheba), and Moladah,

בוַיְהִ֥י לָהֶ֖ם בְּנַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם בְּאֵֽר־שֶׁ֥בַע וְשֶׁ֖בַע וּמוֹלָדָֽה׃

19:3And Chatzar Shu’al (Hazar-shual), and Balah, and Atzem (Azem),

גוַחֲצַ֥ר שׁוּעָ֛ל וּבָלָ֖ה וָעָֽצֶם׃

19:4And Eltolad, and Betul (Bethul), and Chormah (Hormah),

דוְאֶלְתּוֹלַ֥ד וּבְת֖וּל וְחָרְמָֽה׃

19:5And Tziklag (Ziklag), and Beit HaMarkavot (Beth-marcaboth), and Chatzar Susah (Hazar-susah),

הוְצִֽקְלַ֥ג וּבֵית־הַמַּרְכָּב֖וֹת וַחֲצַ֥ר סוּסָֽה׃

19:6And Beit Leva’ot (Beth-lebaoth), and Sharuchen (Sharuhen); thirteen cities and their villages:

ווּבֵ֥ית לְבָא֖וֹת וְשָֽׁרוּחֶ֑ן עָרִ֥ים שְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:7Ayin (Ain), Rimon (Remmon), and Eter (Ether), and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

זעַ֥יִן ׀ רִמּ֖וֹן וָעֶ֣תֶר וְעָשָׁ֑ן עָרִ֥ים אַרְבַּ֖ע וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:8And all the villages that were round about these cities to Ba’alat Be’er (Baalath-beer), Ramat (Ramath) of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Shim’on according to their families.

חוְכָל־הַֽחֲצֵרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר סְבִיבוֹת֙ הֶֽעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה עַד־בַּֽעֲלַ֥ת בְּאֵ֖ר רָ֣אמַת נֶ֑גֶב זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־שִׁמְע֖וֹן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

19:9Out of the portion of the children of Yehudah was the inheritance of the children of Shim’on: for the part of the children of Yehudah was too much for them: therefore the children of Shim’on had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

טמֵחֶ֨בֶל֙ בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה נַחֲלַ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י שִׁמְע֑וֹן כִּֽי־הָיָ֞ה חֵ֤לֶק בְּנֵֽי־יְהוּדָה֙ רַ֣ב מֵהֶ֔ם וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ בְנֵֽי־שִׁמְע֖וֹן בְּת֥וֹךְ נַחֲלָתָֽם׃

19:10And the third lot came up for the children of Zevulun (Zebulun) according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:

יוַיַּ֨עַל֙ הַגּוֹרָ֣ל הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י לִבְנֵ֥י זְבוּלֻ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיְהִ֛י גְּב֥וּל נַחֲלָתָ֖ם עַד־שָׂרִֽיד׃

19:11And their border went up toward the sea, and Mar’alah (Maralah), and reached to Dabashet (Dabbasheth), and reached to the river that is before Yokne’am (Jokneam);

יאוְעָלָ֨ה גְבוּלָ֧ם ׀ לַיָּ֛מָּה וּמַרְעֲלָ֖ה וּפָגַ֣ע בְּדַבָּ֑שֶׁת וּפָגַע֙ אֶל־הַנַּ֔חַל אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י יָקְנְעָֽם׃

19:12And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Kislot Tavor (Chisloth-tabor), and then goes out to Dovrat (Daberath), and goes up to Yafia (Japhia),

יבוְשָׁ֣ב מִשָּׂרִ֗יד קֵ֚דְמָה מִזְרַ֣ח הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ עַל־גְּב֥וּל כִּסְלֹ֖ת תָּבֹ֑ר וְיָצָ֥א אֶל־הַדָּֽבְרַ֖ת וְעָלָ֥ה יָפִֽיעַ׃

19:13And from thence passes on along on the east to Gat Chefer (Gittah-hepher), to Et Katzin (Ittah-kazin), and goes out to Rimon HaMeto’ar (Remmon-methoar) to Ne’ah (Neah);

יגוּמִשָּׁ֤ם עָבַר֙ קֵ֣דְמָה מִזְרָ֔חָה גִּתָּ֥ה חֵ֖פֶר עִתָּ֣ה קָצִ֑ין וְיָצָ֛א רִמּ֥וֹן הַמְּתֹאָ֖ר הַנֵּעָֽה׃

19:14And the border compasses it on the north side to Chanaton (Hannathon): and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Yiftach-El (Jiphthah-el):

ידוְנָסַ֤ב אֹתוֹ֙ הַגְּב֔וּל מִצְּפ֖וֹן חַנָּתֹ֑ן וְהָיוּ֙ תֹּֽצְאֹתָ֔יו גֵּ֖י יִפְתַּח־אֵֽל׃

19:15And Katat (Kattath), and Nahalal (Nahallal), and Shimron, and Yid’alah (Idalah), and Beit Lechem (Bethlehem): twelve cities with their villages.

טווְקַטָּ֤ת וְנַֽהֲלָל֙ וְשִׁמְר֔וֹן וְיִדְאֲלָ֖ה וּבֵ֣ית לָ֑חֶם עָרִ֥ים שְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:16This is the inheritance of the children of Zevulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

טזזֹ֛את נַחֲלַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־זְבוּלֻ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֑ם הֶֽעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:17And the fourth lot came out to Yissachar (Issachar), for the children of Yissachar according to their families.

יזלְיִ֨שָּׂשכָ֔ר יָצָ֖א הַגּוֹרָ֣ל הָֽרְבִיעִ֑י לִבְנֵ֥י יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָֽם׃

19:18And their border was toward Yizre’el (Jezreel), and Kesulot (Chesulloth), and Shunem,

יחוַיְהִ֖י גְּבוּלָ֑ם יִזְרְעֶ֥אלָה וְהַכְּסוּלֹ֖ת וְשׁוּנֵֽם׃

19:19And Chafarayim (Haphraim), and Shi’on (Shihon), and Anacharat (Anaharath),

יטוַחֲפָרַ֥יִם וְשִׁיאֹ֖ן וַאֲנָחֲרַֽת׃

19:20And Rabit (Rabbith), and Kishyon (Kishion), and Avetz (Abez),

כוְהָֽרַבִּ֥ית וְקִשְׁי֖וֹן וָאָֽבֶץ׃

19:21And Remet (Remeth), and Ein Ganim (En-gannim), and Ein Chadah (En-haddah), and Beit Patzetz (Beth-pazzez);

כאוְרֶ֧מֶת וְעֵין־גַּנִּ֛ים וְעֵ֥ין חַדָּ֖ה וּבֵ֥ית פַּצֵּֽץ׃

19:22And the coast reaches to Tavor (Tabor), and Shachatzimah (Shahazimah), and Beit Shemesh (Beth-shemesh); and the outgoings of their border were at Yarden (Jordan): sixteen cities with their villages.

כבוּפָגַע֩ הַגְּב֨וּל בְּתָב֤וֹר וְשַׁחֲצִ֨ימָה֙ (כתיב ושחצומה) וּבֵ֣ית שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ וְהָי֛וּ תֹּצְא֥וֹת גְּבוּלָ֖ם הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן עָרִ֥ים שֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:23This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Yissachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

כגזֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:24And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

כדוַיֵּצֵא֙ הַגּוֹרָ֣ל הַֽחֲמִישִׁ֔י לְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־אָשֵׁ֖ר לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָֽם׃

19:25And their border was Chelkat (Helkath), and Chali (Hali), and Beten, and Achshaf (Achshaph),

כהוַיְהִ֖י גְּבוּלָ֑ם חֶלְקַ֥ת וַחֲלִ֖י וָבֶ֥טֶן וְאַכְשָֽׁף׃

19:26And Alamelech (Alammelech), and Am’ad (Amad), and Mish’al (Misheal); and reaches to Karmel (Carmel) westward, and to Shichor Livnat (Shihor-libnath);

כווְאַֽלַמֶּ֥לֶךְ וְעַמְעָ֖ד וּמִשְׁאָ֑ל וּפָגַ֤ע בְּכַרְמֶל֙ הַיָּ֔מָּה וּבְשִׁיח֖וֹר לִבְנָֽת׃

19:27And turns toward the sunrising to Beit Dagon (Beth-dagon), and reaches to Zevulun, and to the valley of Yiftach-El toward the north side of Beit HaEmek (Beth-emek), and Ne’i’el (Neiel), and goes out to Kavul (Cabul) on the left hand,

כזוְשָׁ֨ב מִזְרַ֣ח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ֮ בֵּ֣ית דָּגֹן֒ וּפָגַ֣ע בִּ֠זְבֻלוּן וּבְגֵ֨י יִפְתַּח־אֵ֥ל צָפ֛וֹנָה בֵּ֥ית הָעֵ֖מֶק וּנְעִיאֵ֑ל וְיָצָ֥א אֶל־כָּב֖וּל מִשְּׂמֹֽאל׃

19:28And Evron (Hebron), and Rechov (Rehob), and Chamon (Hammon), and Kanah, even unto great Tzidon (Zidon);

כחוְעֶבְרֹ֥ן וּרְחֹ֖ב וְחַמּ֣וֹן וְקָנָ֑ה עַ֖ד צִיד֥וֹן רַבָּֽה׃

19:29And then the coast turns to Ramah, and to the strong city Tzor (Tyre); and the coast turns to Chosah (Hosah); and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achziv (Achzib):

כטוְשָׁ֤ב הַגְּבוּל֙ הָֽרָמָ֔ה וְעַד־עִ֖יר מִבְצַר־צֹ֑ר וְשָׁ֤ב הַגְּבוּל֙ חֹסָ֔ה וְהָי֧וּ (כתיב ויהיו) תֹצְאֹתָ֛יו הַיָּ֖מָּה מֵחֶ֥בֶל אַכְזִֽיבָה׃

19:30Umah (Ummah) also, and Afek (Aphek), and Rechov: twenty and two cities with their villages.

לוְעֻמָ֥ה וַאֲפֵ֖ק וּרְחֹ֑ב עָרִ֛ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:31This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

לאזֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־אָשֵׁ֖ר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם הֶעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:32The sixth lot came out to the children of Naftali (Naphtali), even for the children of Naftali according to their families.

לבלִבְנֵ֣י נַפְתָּלִ֔י יָצָ֖א הַגּוֹרָ֣ל הַשִּׁשִּׁ֑י לִבְנֵ֥י נַפְתָּלִ֖י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

19:33And their coast was from Chelef (Heleph), from Elon (Allon) to Tza’ananim (Zaanannim), and Adami, Nekev (Nekeb), and Yavne’el (Jabneel), unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Yarden:

לגוַיְהִ֣י גְבוּלָ֗ם מֵחֵ֨לֶף מֵֽאֵל֜וֹן בְּצַעֲנַנִּ֗ים וַאֲדָמִ֥י הַנֶּ֛קֶב וְיַבְנְאֵ֖ל עַד־לַקּ֑וּם וַיְהִ֥י תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

19:34And then the coast turns westward to Aznot Tavor (Aznoth-tabor), and goes out from thence to Chukok (Hukkok), and reaches to Zevulun on the south side, and reaches to Asher on the west side, and to Yehudah upon Yarden toward the sunrising.

לדוְשָׁ֨ב הַגְּב֥וּל יָ֨מָּה֙ אַזְנ֣וֹת תָּב֔וֹר וְיָצָ֥א מִשָּׁ֖ם חוּקֹ֑קָה וּפָגַ֨ע בִּזְבֻל֜וּן מִנֶּ֗גֶב וּבְאָשֵׁר֙ פָּגַ֣ע מִיָּ֔ם וּבִ֣יהוּדָ֔ה הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן מִזְרַ֥ח הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

19:35And the fenced cities are Tzidim (Ziddim), Tzer (Zer), and Chamat (Hammath), Rakat (Rakkath), and Kinaret (Chinnereth),

להוְעָרֵ֖י מִבְצָ֑ר הַצִּדִּ֣ים צֵ֔ר וְחַמַּ֖ת רַקַּ֥ת וְכִנָּֽרֶת׃

19:36And Adamah, and Ramah, and Chatzor (Hazor),

לווַאֲדָמָ֥ה וְהָרָמָ֖ה וְחָצֽוֹר׃

19:37And Kedesh, and Edre’i (Edrei), and Ein Chatzor (En-hazor),

לזוְקֶ֥דֶשׁ וְאֶדְרֶ֖עִי וְעֵ֥ין חָצֽוֹר׃

19:38And Yir’on (Iron), and Migdal-El (Migdal-el), Chorem (Horem), and Beit Anat (Beth-anath), and Beit Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

לחוְיִרְאוֹן֙ וּמִגְדַּל־אֵ֔ל חֳרֵ֥ם וּבֵית־עֲנָ֖ת וּבֵ֣ית שָׁ֑מֶשׁ עָרִ֥ים תְּשַֽׁע־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:39This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naftali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

לטזֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־נַפְתָּלִ֖י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:40And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

מלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־דָ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם יָצָ֖א הַגּוֹרָ֥ל הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃

19:41And the coast of their inheritance was Tzor’ah (Zorah), and Eshta’ol (Eshtaol), and Ir Shemesh (Ir-shemesh),

מאוַיְהִ֖י גְּב֣וּל נַחֲלָתָ֑ם צָרְעָ֥ה וְאֶשְׁתָּא֖וֹל וְעִ֥יר שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃

19:42And Sha’alabin (Shaalabbin), and Ayalon (Ajalon), and Yitlah (Jethlah),

מבוְשַֽׁעֲלַבִּ֥ין וְאַיָּל֖וֹן וְיִתְלָֽה׃

19:43And Elon, and Timnatah (Thimnathah), and Ekron,

מגוְאֵיל֥וֹן וְתִמְנָ֖תָה וְעֶקְרֽוֹן׃

19:44And Eltekeh, and Gibeton (Gibbethon), and Ba’alat (Baalath),

מדוְאֶלְתְּקֵ֥ה וְגִבְּת֖וֹן וּבַעֲלָֽת׃

19:45And Yehud (Jehud), and Benei Berak (Bene-berak), and Gat-Rimon (Gath-rimmon),

מהוִיהֻ֥ד וּבְנֵֽי־בְרַ֖ק וְגַת־רִמּֽוֹן׃

19:46And Mei HaYarkon (Me-jarkon), and Rakon (Rakkon), with the border before Yafo (Japho).

מווּמֵ֥י הַיַּרְק֖וֹן וְהָֽרַקּ֑וֹן עִֽם־הַגְּב֖וּל מ֥וּל יָפֽוֹ׃

19:47And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

מזוַיֵּצֵ֥א גְבוּל־בְּנֵי־דָ֖ן מֵהֶ֑ם וַיַּעֲל֣וּ בְנֵֽי־דָ֠ן וַיִּלָּחֲמ֨וּ עִם־לֶ֜שֶׁם וַיִּלְכְּד֥וּ אוֹתָ֣הּ ׀ וַיַּכּ֧וּ אוֹתָ֣הּ לְפִי־חֶ֗רֶב וַיִּֽרְשׁ֤וּ אוֹתָהּ֙ וַיֵּ֣שְׁבוּ בָ֔הּ וַיִּקְרְא֤וּ לְלֶ֨שֶׁם֙ דָּ֔ן כְּשֵׁ֖ם דָּ֥ן אֲבִיהֶֽם׃

19:48This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

מחזֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־דָ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם הֶֽעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

19:49When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Yehoshua (Joshua) the son of Nun among them:

מטוַיְכַלּ֥וּ לִנְחֹל־אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ לִגְבֽוּלֹתֶ֑יהָ וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל נַחֲלָ֛ה לִיהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ בִּן־נ֖וּן בְּתוֹכָֽם׃

19:50According to the word of Hashem they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnat-Serach (Timnath-serah) in mount Efrayim (Ephraim): and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

נעַל־פִּ֨י יְהוָ֜ה נָ֣תְנוּ ל֗וֹ אֶת־הָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁאָ֔ל אֶת־תִּמְנַת־סֶ֖רַח בְּהַ֣ר אֶפְרָ֑יִם וַיִּבְנֶ֥ה אֶת־הָעִ֖יר וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב בָּֽהּ׃

19:51These are the inheritances which El’azar (Eleazar) the priest, and Yehoshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Hashem, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.

נאאֵ֣לֶּה הַנְּחָלֹ֡ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִחֲל֣וּ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר הַכֹּהֵ֣ן ׀ וִיהוֹשֻׁ֪עַ בִּן־נ֟וּן וְרָאשֵׁ֣י הָֽאָב֣וֹת לְמַטּוֹת֩ בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀ בְּגוֹרָ֤ל ׀ בְּשִׁלֹה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיְכַלּ֕וּ מֵֽחַלֵּ֖ק אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
